FunzCity

FunzCity Online Casino Bonus Codes

You won’t find any promo codes for FunzCity. But don’t worry — just because they don’t have any bonus codes, that doesn’t mean they don’t have any promotions. My favorite is their daily login bonus.

With this bonus, the Daily Express, which replaced the Mystery Box, gets you either free City Coins or Free Plays. There’s a progressive bar format so it varies daily but basically, you’ll get up to 0.20 City Coins or 5 free plays on a selected slot.

When it comes to first purchase bonuses, you’ve got your pick of two. Here are the options:

750,000 Fun Coins + 50 City Coins – $24.99

325,000 Fun Coins + 26 City Coins – $12.99

However, purchases at FunzCity are optional, and regardless of how you get your City Coins — you’re eligible to convert them for a real cash prize so long as you meet their terms & conditions, which we’ll be discussing later on.

Software and Games

In total there are over 2,100 online casino games currently on offer at FunzCity. Three categories exist, with 2,100+ slots, live dealer and virtual table games, and jackpots available. Many providers have been added beyond the initial few providers like NetGame and BGaming. Today, you’ll find Booming Games, Slotmill, Betsoft, Novomatic, and over 15 more providers. The one thing I would say is that there’s a lack of the top providers that make gameplay more exciting. With that being said, they’re all reputable, licensed providers.

Even experienced users may not be too familiar with NetGame — but rest assured, they’re a perfectly legit developer and have been certified as fair by Gaming Laboratories International. Further, they’ve got a decent variety of games covering a mass of themes and including some fun and unique gaming mechanics. As far as RTP is concerned, you’re looking at an average of just under 96% — although many games sit comfortably above 96%. RTP of all games can be found in their rules section.

All games are available for both standard play through Fun Coins, and also through promotional play with City Coins.

FunzCity Online Slots

With over 2,100 titles and more getting added regularly, online slot games are undoubtedly the main attraction at FunzCity. Bet limits can easily be found just by clicking on a game’s icon. You can also find slots with popular mechanics like Hold and Win, cascading reels, megaways mechanics, as well as some games that offer you the option to buy straight into the bonus rounds. My only criticism is that the games aren’t categorized particularly well. As such, the only way to discover the mechanics of a particular game is to open it up and check it out for yourself.

I’ve got to admit that prior to playing at FunzCity, my experience with NetGame slots was limited. However, after just a couple of hours of trying out the various slots — I’m becoming a fan. As far as which slot is my favorite, it’s a pretty easy pick for me with the Squid Game inspired Squid Slot. This is no small part due to the fact that on just my second spin, I scored a huge x40 win. There’s a lot more going on than NetGame nowadays so you’ll find familiar slots like Luck of Panda Bonus Combo and Coins Buffalo Hold & Win. There are over 20 providers that have been added as well and are worth checking out like Snoop Dogg Dollars by BGaming for example.

Other popular slot games at FunzCity include:

• Tumblin Dublin
• Rich Piggies: Bonus Combo
• Carnival Cat
• Hot As Devil: Hold ‘N’ Win
• Wild Buffalo: Rapid Link

With City Coins, most games can be played for as little as 0.5 CC while offering a maximum bet of 5 CC. (Not including slots that allow for you to purchase the bonus directly.)

Jackpot Games

There’s a handful of fixed jackpot games like Savannah Staks, Caishen’s Palace Hold N’ Link, and True Ways Wild West. I checked out play level limits and found True Ways Wild West to have a minimum 100 Fun Coins and a max amount of 5,000 FC. Caishen’s Palace had the same minimum but with a larger maximum of 10,000 Fun Coins.

Jackpots can bring bigger wins but it’s generally more difficult to get frequent low wins. If you have a lot of coins and you’re feeling lucky, these are exciting but if you have a sparing amount, best to stick with regular slots.

Live & Virtual Table Games

The live lobby is a welcome addition to the FunzCity collection and is powered solely by ICONIC21. You’ll find a variety of live and virtual table games like Grand Bonus Baccarat, Lite Roulette, and 360 Blackjack Midnight. Additionally, Top Card, Andar Bahar, Dragon Tiger, and Bet on Teen Patti can be found here. Play limits range widely from 0.1 CC to 500 CC. In total, you’ll find over 20 different titles.

Bingo

Bingo at FunzCity isn’t exactly about clicking on a title and daubing. You earn bingo tickets by playing games and wait for random Bingo Balls to drop. Once you’ve collected 10, you activate a mini game, Bingo Lottery. Here, you match the numbers on the balls to your card with more matches bringing on bigger winnings, ranging from 1 CC to 10 CC.

Sweepstakes Gaming

The standard dual currency system is in effect at FunzCity. Although they’ve changed the names around as the standard play currency of Gold Coins is instead Fun Coins (FC), and the promotional currency of Sweeps Coins is instead City Coins (CC). In game, these currencies function identically. All games and game modes are available with both sets of coins.

However, where they differ is in what you can do with the coin. With the standard play currency of Fun Coins — as the name suggests, they’re strictly for fun and have no real-world value. On the other hand, the premium currency of City Coins is a type of currency that can be used to redeem for real cash prizes.

City Coins can be gained as free bonuses when you purchase Fun Coins. But this is 100% optional. According to the laws that govern sweepstakes promotions in the US, all sweepstakes casinos must offer their player base a way to win prizes without requiring a purchase — and FunzCity complies with this 100% through a variety of no deposit bonuses.

FunzCity Casino Bonuses and Promotions

In this section we’ll be going through all the bonuses on offer at FunzCity.

No Deposit Bonus

The welcome bonus at FunzCity is a 125,000 Fun Coins bonus for signing up. Once you confirm your email, complete your profile, and verify your mobile number, you end up with 175,000 Fun Coins and 3 City Coins.

This puts it in line with most other daily login bonuses offered by other sweepstakes casinos. This is fine. Though as a no deposit welcome bonus it is a bit lackluster when compared to some of the other best sweepstakes casinos.

First Purchase Bonus

At FunzCity, you’ve got two options for a first purchase bonus.

• 750,000 FC + 35 CC For $24.99
• 900,000 FC + 50 CC For $29.99

While FunzCity may label these as a 200% and 150% extra coins bonus, that only applies to the Fun Coins part, and for the all-important City Coins, it’s actually a 40% and 50% bonus respectively.

Selecting which package is better is a bit of a tall order. This is because while the first bonus gives you a bigger City Coins bonus at 1,000 — it’s the second offer that gives you more bang for your buck. Personally, I went for the second offer. Keep in mind that when you buy packages, there’s a bonus involved called City Scratch. Once you’ve collected 50 points, you unlock valuable scratch cards that unveil rewards.

How to Get More FunzCity Free City Coins

While taking advantage of a first purchase bonus is a great way to give yourself a fast start, it’s 100% possible to earn free City Coins. We’ve already covered their daily bonus, but below we’ll be going through a couple of their other free City Coins promotions.

• VIP Rewards — As you rank up in the FunzCity VIP program, you get to spin the VIP Club wheel for increasingly larger prizes. As a rookie, you’re looking at a max win of 150,000 FC + 4 CC per spin. But as you continue playing at FunzCity and rank up, you’ll become an Overlord and get spins worth 350,000 FC + 50 CC.
• Daily Playback — By playing games, you qualify for the playback reward based on losses. Claim your reward within 24 hours after its calculated to get the percentage back available based on your VIP level. The maximum reward is up to 100,000 FC and 100 CC.
• Email Offers — I received email offers quite regularly that make up for the lack of missions. Offers will depend on your VIP status but generally, you can expect to get discounts on packages and free play offers.
• Invite Friends Program — With the FunzCity referral program, you can earn free City Coins by telling your friends about FunzCity. To do so, head to the promo page and click the ‘Copy Link’ button under the referral promotion. Then, just share that link with your friends and for each that signs up and completes the referral process through your link, you’ll score a bonus of 900,000 FC + 25 CC.
• AMOE — The alternate method of entry (AMOE) is a sweepstakes casino staple for getting free CC. And with FunzCity, it’s no different. Send a postcard with the correct information to FunzCity headquarters to claim 1 CC free. Worth $1, the AMOE at FunzCity is significantly lower than what’s offered by other sweepstakes casinos, so for that reason I recommend you don’t try to take advantage of this bonus. Though if you do want to, check out the Alternate Method of Entry page on the FunzCity site for the full instructions.

Promo Codes Terms and Requirements

Like all bonuses, the FunzCity promos come with a few terms & conditions. Below, we’ll be going through the most important of these.

1. Using our links, navigate to the FunzCity homepage.
2. Click the registration button and choose to either link your account through Facebook or Google, or sign up manually.
3. Click the registration link in your email to confirm your registration.

Once you’ve completed the above process, you’ll automatically be credited 125,000 FC. However, to collect free City Coins you’ll need to verify your account. To do this, click the ‘Complete Profile’ right next to your account icon, and then fill in the relevant information. To maximize the welcome bonus, complete your profile and confirm your mobile number.

Banking

Playing at FunzCity is always free. But for players who want to supercharge their experience, you can purchase FC packages that contain free City Coins. Then once you’ve won with these City Coins, you can exchange your Winnings for real prizes.

Purchasing Fun Coins

Including the two first purchase bonuses, there are thirteen Fun Coins packages on offer. The highest package is $499.99 where you get 5,000,000 FC and 500 CC. Regardless of which package you’re after, you’ll only be given one purchasing method: credit/debit card. Just type in your card details and click the confirm button, and your coins will be instantly credited to your account. No hidden fees are charged. So the advertised prices of the package is what you’ll pay — no nasty surprises.

Redeeming Cash Prizes

When it comes to redeeming Winnings (1 CC = $1) for prizes, you’ve got four options.

This information isn’t readily displayed for new users. However, I’ve got to give credit to their customer support team who were quick to provide me with the desired information.

Is FunzCity Casino Legit?

Whenever a new sweepstakes casino pops up, the first question users ask is if it is legit. In the case of FunzCity, we feel pretty comfortable saying that they are. This is because they are owned and operated by A1 Development LLC—a company that also runs other sweepstakes casinos like Funrize Casino and NoLimitCoins, which is confirmed to be legit.

Additionally, having reviewed the site thoroughly, I can say that they are operating legally under sweepstakes laws and that they have all of the relevant security features that you would expect from a sweepstakes casino. For this reason, I feel comfortable giving FunzCity the green light as a legitimate sweepstakes casino.

Where is FunzCity Legal?

As a sweepstakes casino, FunzCity is legal in a lot of places where traditional online casinos are not. However, there are still some restrictions.

• All users must be 18 or older
• Users from California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming are not permitted to sign up

If you live in one of the states that FunzCity doesn’t support, we recommend you check out our guide on the top sweepstakes casinos for more options.

Mobile Gameplay

FunzCity does not currently have a mobile app. However, they do have a mobile site that is 100% functional on both iOS and Android devices. It does feel a little bit cluttered at times, but it’s still usable. Although with that being said, I do massively prefer playing at FunzCity from the desktop site rather than on my mobile phone.

Security and Responsible Social Gameplay

When it comes to security, FunzCity gets a passing grade. Both their mobile and desktop site pass all the relevant security checks and from my research I could not find any cases of security breaches. Likewise, their various methods of obtaining free coins more than satisfy the ‘No Purchase Necessary’ policy that all sweepstakes casinos must adhere to. Thankfully, the responsible gaming aspect has greatly improved as well.

RSG tools now include reality check, purchase limits, self-exclusion, and cool-off periods. It’s easy to find access the tools and adjust limits in your profile section for safer gaming and I recommend you take advantage of it right from the start.

Customer Support

The customer support team is one area that FunzCity really shines in. Live chat is far and away my favorite method of customer support, and the team at FunzCity gets an A+ — being knowledgeable, friendly, and quick in all of their communications. They also have an email: support@funzcity.com which is always active.

Tips for Playing at FunzCity Casino

FunzCity is a pretty unique sweepstakes casino. However, with that being said, in the course of reviewing them I have come up with some tips for new players to get the most out of their play.

• Use Free Play in the Beginning — There’s a good chance that you won’t have played NetGame developed games before. They are pretty good, though they do have unique features. For that reason, when you’re playing a new game I recommend you start off by using Fun Coins.
• Verify Your Account Early — Free City Coins are only awarded to users with verified accounts. For that reason, you need to get your account verified as soon as possible.
• Take Advantage of the Referral Bonus — While some of the bonuses at FunzCity are a little underwhelming, the referral bonus is not one of them. With a value of $25 per friend, it can be a great way to get some extra free City Coins.

Areas FunzCity Casino Could Improve

FunzCity has grown up a lot since it launched and many of the improvements I’d hope to see in my initial review have been implemented. Still, there are a few things that could be better including:

• Include a FAQ Section
• Develop a Mobile App
• Offer a Dedicated No Deposit Welcome Bonus that includes Free City Coins
• Improve The AMOE Bonus
• Take away the cap on winnings from a free play bonus
• Add Table Games

Review Summary

FunzCity is a fun casino to play at. With that being said, it’s still pretty new and has a way to go if it wants to become one of the best sweepstakes casinos. For a summary of everything we’ve covered so far, check out the table below.

FunzCity Sister Online Casinos

Parent company A1 Development LLC has a lot of other sweepstakes casinos under their banner. These casinos have a pretty similar look and feel to FunzCity. So if you like the look of FunzCity but would prefer a more established casino, check out sister casinos Funrize, NoLimitCoins, TaoFortune, StormRush, and Fortune Wheelz.
